Our Thanksgiving turkey is chillin’ on ice with a friend.

They lived a good life on a Union County farm, and will be a treasured part of our holiday meal.  Getting to know a local farmer, seeing our turkey grow, and bringing it home has been a wonderful experience.  I’m thankful, because seeing what happens to your typical bird on a poultry farm has sent me seeking “tofurkey” in years past.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.  And we’ll see you at the parade.

It’s early this year, 10AM, downtown Charlotte – and LIVE on WBTV.
